St. Patrick's Day Invitational March 21st, 2026

The Elizabethton High School pool is a 5-lane 25-yard pool with SR Smith Velocity VR starting blocks with track starting platforms. FINIS backstroke wedges are also available. It has a minimum depth of 3 feet and a maximum depth of 9 feet.  The pool is equipped with Colorado Timing System.   WARM-UP:  Warmups will start at 10:00am and end at 11:00am.  At 10:45am lanes 1 and 5 will open as one-way sprint lanes only.

COMPETITION START TIME:  The first session will start at 11:15am. There will be a 30 minute warmup after completion of the first session.  Second session will begin no earlier than 1:00pm.  Postponement or cancelation as necessary will be at the discretion of the meet referee in accordance with USMS rule 102.11.

CONTINUOUS WARM-UP: Swimmers will be allowed a cool-down length of the pool and will exit at the shallow end after each heat. There will be a 10-minute break every 30 minutes throughout the competition for Warmup/Cooldown. 

 

Swimmers are encouraged to use the ClubAssistant online entry system, which streamlines checking USMS registrations, putting your entries into the meet database, and entry payments.

Swimmers using a paper entry form need to attach a copy of their USMS card to their entry form.  Swimmers using paper entries must also print out and sign the USMS waiver of liability found here.  Copies of the waiver will also be available at the meet. Mail-in entries must be sent to: Typhoons Swim Club, c/o Kelli Broussard, 406 Holston Avenue, Elizabethton, TN 37643.  I

ENTRY DEADLINE(S): All individual entries and fees must be received by 11:59 pm EST on Monday, March 16th, 2026.

ENTRY LIMITS – A swimmer may enter up to six (6) individual events at a flat fee of $45.00. Events 1 & 2 (1650 Free & 400 IM) will be limited to 15 entries.  Credit cards will be charged by "ClubAssistant.com Events."

MAILED ENTRIES: Mail-in entries will be accepted for an additional $10 fee and must be received no later than Monday, March 16th. Please use the mail-in entry form and send to Kelli Broussard, 406 Holston Avenue, Elizabethton, TN 37643. Make checks payable to “ECS Community Involvement”. Paper entries MUST INCLUDE a signed USMS Waiver Liability Form.
